MIDDLEWARE - software for acquiring data from various systems, their integration, replenishment and maintaining correctness.

MIDDLEWARE can act as a link among various platforms, data bases and net reports, front-end and host computers, solutions concerning dispersed processing data based on various standards, etc. It can also provide security of access between the net and the application (identification, authorization, access regulation, etc.) as well as library service servers (directory services) LDAP.
Those systems mainly allow for:

• Collecting data from many source systems independently of data bases in which they are located;
• Converting data, combining data from many sources and translating them with maintaining the history of changes;
• Exportation and importation of calculation sheet and text files, together with specification of differences;
• Maintaining validity of data with source systems;
• Guaranteeing cohesion of data;

MIDDLEWARE systems made by bit.net consist of several independent modules:

• Importation module - responsible for connecting with source systems, importation of data and specification changes in the systems of origins;
• Transaction module - responsible for translating data from the original form into the required target form - by means of simple operations on the data and combining data from many source;
• Editing module - enabling the user to modify singular records as well as to import and export data to calculation sheet and text files;

Such a structure allows for simple and fast adjustment of software to the specific background of our customer, so as to satisfy his/her needs connected with data processing in the best possible way.For example, a system can be used for translation of data existing in various target systems (among ethers connected with sales, distribution, invoicing) into a common form used by the software of a particular company (e.g. SAP).
